Zachary David Levy

Zachary D. Levy, MD, FCCM, FACEP, is an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine and Neurosurgery at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. He received his medical degree from Albany Medical College, followed by an emergency medicine residency at Christiana Care Health System and a fellowship in neurocritical care at North Shore University Hospital. He currently serves as core faculty on the Admissions Committee at the Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine, and is Associate Program Director for the Neurocritical Care Fellowship. He has appeared on NPR's "Morning Edition" and on TLC/The Discovery Channel's "Untold Stories of the ER", and is the editor of Absolute Neurocritical Care Review. His work as a puzzle maker has been featured in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times, and the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), among others.
