Dinah Miller, the author of seven John Treehorn Mystery novels and three short reads for charity, is an award-winning screenwriter who grew up the Adirondacks of New York. She left the woods and graduated from the University of Arizona where she embarked on a lifetime of story-gathering during her time as a rehabilitation social worker working in the areas of substance abuse, in-patient psychiatric services, suicide prevention, and legal advocacy for the mentally ill.
Miller notes, “My fiction writing focuses on FBI Special Agent John Treehorn and his thirst for justice in a world where he believes a victim should never be forgotten. His job takes him to crimes that have connections to Native American Reservations. Born half Navajo and half white, he is a man of two worlds.”
