Basketball legend Dr. J (aka Julius Erving) and actor John Cusack are among her celebrity students. She also worked with 5-time Olympic Gold Medal speed skating champion Bonnie Blair.

According to Skate Woman, skating is everywhere and she has covered all the ABC's of skating in her books and Learn To Skate videos. Her 21st century system, Skate 101, is the easiest, quickest, safest, most convenient and affordable way to learn about skating and how to skate safely. She also offers a variety of STEM, STEAM, STREAM activity and lesson plans for all ages, designed for parents, grandparents, family, friends teachers, and educators to make learning science, technology, engineering, art and math fun!

Her obsession with skating started early. At the young age of seven, Jenny Jen found her calling. She skated up and down the beach in Hollywood, Florida. Finding a sport that she was good at was not easy, she claims, but skating came naturally. Stopping did not! Funny thing is, she never needed to stop before she got her first pair of rollerblades and discovered skating down a hill was something she had not planned on doing, but, somehow, she made it. It took her years to learn how to skate, discovering where her steering wheel and brakes were. After many years of practicing, she figured it all out and developed new laws of motion that everyone can understand, remember and apply to things that move and groove. She also wrote her thesis on skating at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business. After graduation, she earned her certification as an international in-line skate instructor. As a certified skate teacher, Skate Woman, began skating down a new path!

Determined to make skating easy and fun for everyone, Jenny Jen started rhyming like Dr. Seuss and reasoning like Sir Isaac Newton. She raps her rhymes on skates to demonstrate. To share her instructional rhymes with the world, she formed a band, Jenny Jen and Taki76 (formerly Phat Sk8trax). They landed a top ten single of the year in the Village Voice with their debut track, “Boogie Back Rap.” Jenny Jen was featured in XXL Magazine, the world’s biggest hip hop magazine and numerous others. She's has graced the covers of several publications, including The Philadelphia Inquirer and the Daily Pennsylvanian, twice.
