Greetings, and thank you for your interest in my newly released book, We Met on the Other Side: A True Love Story. This revised second edition provides significant content updates that include my childhood NDE, prayers I used, suggested reading, healing resources, and much more. The original book, Waking Up to Love, is now out of print. Now, here is some information about me and the book's topic. When I had a shared near-death experience (SNDE) with the man who became my husband, it changed me at a core level. The book, We Met on the Side describes the details of our healing time and relevant classroom experiences that occurred when I was teaching a Marriage and Family Relationships class. The SNDE enhanced my ability to access multiple dimensions and to harness divine love in transformative ways for healing, growth, and recovery. I am dedicated to helping others to heal whatever needs healing, expand their spiritual potential and find love in their lives in a way that heals at the soul level. My Ph.D. is in public policy and administration from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) and my master's degree is in public health (MPH) from VCU's School of Medicine. David and I live in Atlanta Georgia these days. We love to read, visit second-hand shops in search of special treasures, try different foods from other cultures, see plays, listen to music (all kinds) travel locally and internationally, find joy in the little things, and laugh as much as we can. We are grateful for each day and take it one day at a time. We are also dedicated to supporting people in 12-step recovery. Together, we have four children and four grandchildren.
