Rob Taylor

关于作者

Rob Taylor is a recovering journalist who got his right hip joint replaced in May, 2017. He experienced little pain and recovered quickly, taking short hikes in three weeks and playing golf after a month. He wrote "Get Hip!" to share what he learned about how quickly one may resume an active life after hip surgery. Rob worked as a journalist for 30 years at the Wall Street Journal and other newspapers and magazines. He freelanced abroad and ran training seminars for journalists in more than a dozen countries, mostly on coverage of science and the environment. He studied in England for a year, got a BA in history from Princeton University and did a mid-career fellowship at Stanford. In "retirement" he has managed a horse farm, worked as an emergency medical technician, learned to play the saxophone and taught adult-education classes. He lives in New Hampshire with his first wife, Toni, and border collies, "Nervous" Nelly and "Hyper" Piper.
