Adam M. Volungis, Ph.D., is a counseling psychologist and licensed mental health counselor. He has worked with a variety of populations in multiple settings using CBT for the past 15+ years. Dr. Volungis is an assistant professor and the cognitive-behavioral therapies concentration coordinator in the Clinical Counseling Psychology Program (CCPP) at Assumption University (Worcester, MA) where he teaches multiple CBT graduate courses. The CCPP is home to the Aaron T. Beck Institute for Cognitive Studies and is one of the few master’s level programs in the country with a primary concentration in cognitive-behavioral studies. He is also author of "Becoming a Mental Health Counselor: A Guide to Career Development and Professional Identity." He is a member of the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies and the American Psychological Association. He is president of the New England Psychological Association.
