Christopher Grundy is a liturgical theologian, author, recording artist, speaker, and professor of worship and preaching. After earning degrees from Carleton College and Union Theological Seminary in New York, he was ordained in the United Church of Christ and served local congregations in Iowa and Kansas. Since earning an MTS and Phd from Garrett Theological Seminary, he has served at Eden Theological Seminary in St. Louis as Associate Dean of the Chapel and Associate Professor of Worship and Preaching. In addition to Recovering Communion in a Violent World, Dr. Grundy is a co-author of The Work of the People: What We Do in Worship and Why.
