Katie Kath

Katie graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) with an MFA in illustration. She illustrates books, magazines, and literary media for children and is the artist for several picture and middle grade books. Some of her books have been recognized by folks like the Bank Street College of Education & Children's Book Committee, the New York Public Library, and the Children's Book Council (CBC), and the Junior Library Guild. Katie conducts workshops and lectures for both kids and adults at universities, bookstores, libraries, and elementary schools across the Carolinas, and heads her local chapter of the Urban Sketchers group. In her spare time, she tries to amuse her cat (often to no avail), plays piano, draws cartoons about her life, and counts the days until Christmas.
