Laura Jack

Laura Jack was born in the Scottish Highlands. After traveling extensively she has recently returned there to take up writing in between her outdoor adventure activities of sailing, horse riding and mountain biking. She has two grown up children and a grandaughter. Laura's two main loves are Ice Age archaeology and sports, both of which she incorporates her knowledge and first hand insights into her stories. Her first novel, Brinan of the Wolf Clan allows the reader to experience survival as a child in the ice age. In this groundbreaking adventure novel her rag tag protagonists not only survive but thrive against the odds. Her second novel in the the series, Land of the Mammoth Clan, continues the adventures of the children of the Wolf Clan while also following the return journey of a long lost family member across Eurasia. Laura's third novel in The Children of the Wolf Clan series - The Return of the White Bear has just been released and she is currently working on the fourth novel in the series after recently completing the first novel of her new series, 'Trail Riders', a modern day childrens' adventure story based in the remote Scottish Highlands.
