Jenny Kempson

Jenny Kempson is a designer, geographer, and public artist who has lived along both coasts and the middle of America. Her background spans all phases of the creative process, from research to strategy to implementation,working within nonprofit, civic, community, and private sectors. She brings experience in community-centered design and research with a foundation in psychology, skills in physical and digital design, and an entrepreneurial spirit. Jenny’s work focuses on uncovering and illustrating research insights and continuously exploring ways to connect people to places and to each other through design. Her favorite way to soak in a city’s personality is walking every nook and cranny while drinking coffee. Jenny lived and loved Seattle for ten years prior to moving to New York, then San Francisco. Her work on this book has kept the long-distance love affair with Seattle going strong.
