Patrick Lombardi

Patrick Lombardi was born and raised in New Jersey. He graduated from Rider University in Lawrenceville, N.J., with a bachelor’s degree in English. He is currently a full-time employee with the state and contributes to BestofNJ.com. He also has been published on outlets such as NJ.com, The Times of Trenton, MyCentralJersey.com, Courier News, Home News Tribune, Odyssey Online, BuzzFeed, Patch.com, The News Hub, and the Hillsborough Beacon. Lombardi writes in a similar vein to comedy greats like David Sedaris, Kurt Vonnegut, and Stephen Colbert. His humor is often cheerful and clever, but he isn't afraid to be blunt or caustic when the situation calls for it. But don't think too much into Lombardi's tales--they're constructed strictly for your enjoyment. "Junk Sale," which features a collection of short stories and essays, is Lombardi's first publication. His second book, "The New Jersey Food Truck Cookbook," is due out February 13, 2023.
