Kathryn Hemmann

Kathryn Hemmann is the author of numerous essays on Japanese fiction, video games, and graphic novels. Hemmann teaches at University of Pennsylvania, and they tweet @kathrynthehuman. They also run the blog Contemporary Japanese Literature (japaneselit.net), which features reviews of fiction in translation and short articles on Japanese popular culture and society.
