In 2008 Elliott moved to the stunning setting of Vancouver, Canada, to pursue her post-graduate degree in engineering and also her dream of making a positive impact in the world. On completion of her Master of Science, she started working for the car giant Mercedes Benz, on one of their state-of-the-art technologies, the new breed of hydrogen cars.
Soon after that Elliott found that her aspirations lay in the field of electronics and high tech, she began working as a designer at one of the biggest high-tech companies in the United States.
As an engineer, she enjoys analyzing graphs and charts, which in turn led her to examine the value of the stock market and cryptocurrencies. With a strong belief in the impact of decentralized currencies run by regular people and the way that technology will impact on all our futures, Elliott has taken another new path and has written two books; one on The Internet of Things and the other on mining and trading in Bitcoin.
Elliott loves teaching others about the future of technologies and with her ability to make complex subjects accessible and easy to understand she hopes to extend the reach she has, to a possible worldwide audience in the future.
In her free time, Elliott loves working on design projects, building electronic gadgets and playing tennis.
