Sarah is a nutritionist, author, chef and co-founder of the Living Kitchen in Toronto. She grew up in a family that always loved cooking and valued good food. Starting in her teens Sarah struggled with hormonal balance and endometriosis for most of her adult life and it took her many years to figure out what type of “diet” was best for her and that there really is no one size fits all approach to what we should eat.
While getting her BA from Hampshire College in Massachusetts, Sarah fell in love with nutrition and developed her cooking skills through working in restaurants. Eventually moving to Canada, Sarah became a Certified Nutritional Practitioner at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition and now loves assisting and empowering others to feel healthier and manage chronic health conditions by eating healthy food. Her company, the Living Kitchen, provides personalized private chef services and nutrition based menu planning, with a focus in supporting clients going through cancer treatment.
Sarah is also a food photographer and you can find her photos on the Living Kitchen blog and social media platforms, as well as on Food Network Canada. The Living Kitchen is her first cookbook, co-authored with Tamara Green, and is published by Appetite by Random House.
