She has authored Amazon's best-selling and the multiple-award-winning non-fiction book, "Deep Waters: Lift Your Gaze," and an award-winning, supporting devotional, "Deep Waters: Lift Your Gaze 30-Day Devotional." The results? Unbridled hope and healing, especially in the darkest places of our society. Kim has also founded Lift Your Gaze, a nonprofit 501(c)3, in which she teaches at correctional facilities across the nation to openly share her message of hope with the incarcerated and their families. She is a dynamic, sought-after award-winning, inspirational speaker, corporate trainer, bible study teacher, and college instructor. She has extensive experience in helping others become better versions of themselves as she teaches leadership, mentoring, public speaking, and time management techniques. For the past several decades, Kim has worked as an executive in sales, marketing, and strategic management with Fortune 500 companies such as Neiman Marcus, Merck Pharmaceuticals, and Digital Equipment Corp. as well as expanding startups and mission-based organizations. She was the Administrator of a large humanitarian-based child sponsorship organization, where she organized successful fund-raising events, medical and construction short-term mission trips, and the care of close to 1,000 AIDS orphans in four program locations in Africa. Her passion for missions placed her on a mission board which oversaw funding for over 60 mission world-wide organizations and missionaries. Kim also has had extensive experience in adult education as an Adjunct College Marketing Instructor. After earning her Master of Science Degree in Business in Marketing from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mass Communications from Towson State University, she offers her marketing consulting services to fellow authors, entrepreneurs, and local business owners. She enjoys putting her expertise in leadership, mentoring, and public speaking to good use as she trains audiences of thousands around the country, college students, and teaches and leads bible and book studies in her church. Kim is an avid runner as she has run two Disney Marathons (with respectable times), despite the angry protests from her knees. She, along with her family and their very active 90-pound yellow lab (who believes she a lap dog), reside in sunshiny Florida and enjoy serving in the local church, bible studies, playing in the pool, and family sporting events.
