Ralph Siegel has been a Licensed Battlefield Guide at Gettysburg National Military Park since 2004. He has conducted thousands of battlefield tours for all manner of visitors, groups and military classes from around the United States. He is also a frequent presenter at seminars and history roundtables. He has done "anniversary battle walks" for the National Park Service and battlefield programs on a variety of topics for the Gettysburg Foundation, the Adams County Historical Society, the Nassau Club of Princeton and many others on topics ranging from artillery to immigrant troops to the WWII burials in the National Cemetery. But his core interest and passion has always been the Peach Orchard. After 25 years in newspapers and 20 years in conservation work for the State of New Jersey, he has now retired from the "real" working world and has moved to Gettysburg with his wife, Donna Leusner, to work as a guide.
