Jean Louise Green

Since 1991, Jean Louise Green, Rolf Practitioner and CMT, has maintained a full-time practice as a certified Practitioner of Structural Integration. Her bodywork addresses fascial connective tissues and helps to promote a sense of well-being, resolution of chronic pain, reduction of inflammation, and injury rehabilitation. With improvement in the structure of the body and its function, clients also report an increase in body awareness, freedom and ease of movement, enhanced mental clarity and energy levels, and restoration of the underlying order and integrity of the body. Green became a licensed massage therapist in Hawaii in 1987. In 1991, she completed the Basic Training Program for Practitioners of Structural Integration with the Guild for Structural Integration. For two years In Hawaii, Jean Louise was mentored by advanced level Rolfer® Sharon Miller. Green moved to California in 1999 and worked as a Massage Therapist and Structural Integrator at the Chico Sports Club until 2012. She also taught basic and advanced level deep tissue classes at Chico Therapy Wellness Center from 2004-2018. In 2019 Jean Louise completed the Advanced Training Program for Practitioners of Structural Integration through the Guild for Structural Integration. Also in 2019 her book, Structural Integration and Energy Medicine: A Handbook of Advanced Bodywork was published. In the Foreword for her book, biophysicist James L. Oschman states, “The concepts presented in this book can benefit anyone and can also enhance the work of all health-care practitioners. Green has integrated far more than structure—she has integrated her lifetime of experiences and adventures with human structure, mind, body, and spirit. The information Jean Louise Green has organized in this book is priceless.” Jean Louise Green is a professional member of the Guild for Structural Integration (GSI), the International Association of Structural Integrators (IASI), the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP), and the California Massage Therapy Council (CAMTC). She lives and works in Chico, California, where she maintains a full-time Structural Integration practice.
