Steve Hutchison

Steve Hutchison is a seasoned artist, developer, and entrepreneur with extensive experience in film, video games, and communications. In 1999, he co-founded Shade.ca Art and Code, followed by Terror.ca and its French counterpart, Terreur.ca in 2000. With a background in art and integration, Steve has contributed to the development of numerous popular games, including Street Fighter (Capcom), Bejeweled and Tetris (PopCap), Pac-Man (Bandai/Namco), and Skip-Bo & Phase 10 (Mattel), where he served as a localization manager, 2D artist, and usability expert. Passionate about gamification, Steve created a revolutionary horror movie review platform that offers users the ability to filter, search, and sort reviews by mood, genre, sub-genre, and antagonist. This platform has become a go-to source of inspiration for horror movie fans, authors, and filmmakers. In March 2013, Steve launched Tales of Terror, which features advanced technology and a sophisticated engine, allowing for even greater customization and user engagement. Since its launch, he has published numerous horror-themed books and continues to be a prominent figure in the genre.
