Annahita de la Mare

Like many an 80s child, Annahita de la Mare spent her childhood reading by torchlight under a blanket and using big words pronounced incorrectly. Or small words like coarse, which, turns out, really isn’t pronounced how you would think. She loved writing too, but then she grew up and became a boring management consultant. Luckily, she had kids and grew up a second time, rediscovering the joy of make believe. Raised in a Welsh Iranian household in England, she currently lives in the US, fervently defending her right to put day before month and the letter ‘s’ after ‘math’.
