Joseph Rivera is a professor of philosophy of religion at Dublin City University in Ireland. A native of Missouri in the USA, Joseph has lived over seas for more than a decade. He conducts research in phenomenology, spirituality, political theory, patristic theology (especially Augustine); he also explores themes like selfhood, empathy, love, temporality, mood, and public dialogue. He has released three monographs on topics like these, as well as a co-translation of Didier Franck's book on the body in Husserl.
