James Gordon C.Ht.

James Gordon (he/him or they/them) is a lifelong metro Washington DC resident, a Beltway insider by birth, and a student and follower of politics and people. He has a strong interest in history, which is "about people, not battles and important men," that dovetails with his interests in human behavior, actions, and emotions. In addition to fiction, he has written nonfiction and drafted screenplays, often in collaboration with his partner, Rebecca Doll. His influences include a wide range of authors and philosophers from the past, including Victorian literature, authors from the interwar period, and modern work. He reveres "anyone who can tell a raw, unvarnished story about real people."
