Umesha Nayak

Umesha Nayak is the Chief Executive Officer of N-U Sigma U-Square Analytics Lab and is the Director of MUSA Software Engineering. He has got rich experience of about 37 years including 16 years in Consulting where he focused on Systems/Process/Management Consulting to IT/Manufacturing and other organizations across the globe. He has an M.S. in Software Systems, M.A. in Economics and a PGDFM. His certifications include Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Certified Risk & Information Systems Control (CRISC) Professional from ISACA, US; Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers; Certified Lead Auditor for many of the ISO standards, and Certified Coach among others. He has worked extensively in banking, software development, product design and development, project management, program management, information technology audits, information application audits, quality assurance, product reliability, risk management, human resources management, coaching, artificial intelligence/machine learning/business analytics, consultancy. He was Vice President and Corporate Executive Council member at Polaris Software Lab, Chennai prior to the current assignment. He was also Head of Quality, Head of SEPG and Internal Automation Task Force, Head of Strategic Practice Unit – Risks & Treasury at Polaris Software Lab. He has created many world class software products for his clients.

He started his journey with computers in 1981 with ICL mainframes and continued further with minis and PCs. He was one of the founding members of the Information Systems Auditing in the Banking industry in India. He has effectively guided many organizations through successful ISO 9001/ISO27001/CMMI and other certifications and process/product improvements. He is also well known for conduct of effective trainings. He has carried out / led large number of internal, external assessments on systems / processes as part of his work / consultancy assignments. He also has rich experience in the financial risk management. He is also certified in Coaching through Neuro Leadership Group. He has provided consultancy to various organizations in conducting effective data analysis.
