Michelle Mason, author, stylist and founder of Mason & Painter Vintage, in London’s Columbia Road, takes inspiration from some of the most inspiring vintage stores and fleamarkets that the capital has to offer in her latest book: Vintage Shops London.

Vintage Shops London features more than 50 vintage shops with a detailed description, what it is best known for, behind-the-scenes details and illustrated with sumptuous special photography, which tells the story of each store and its shopkeepers. Michelle also adds an insight into her own inspirational style with ideas for quick updates for your home and shows how you can recreate your own vintage vignette.
Michelle's first book, Flower Market, Botanical Style at Home (Pimpernel Press 2019) grew from her interest in styling with flowers and plants bought from the local Sunday flower market, outside her vintage shop. She was worked on styling projects for a number of clients including Sir John Soane's Museum shop, the Southbank Centre and Kew Gardens. Vintage Shops London is her second book, published 22 April 2021.
