Pam Turner

关于作者

Pam Turner is a composer/arranger, teacher, and church pianist from Atlanta, Georgia. She began piano lessons as a relatively late beginner at age 12 after having been inspired by listening to the pianist at church. She fell in love with the piano at the first lesson, and wanted to become a piano teacher herself. In high school she was an accompanist for chorus classes, and at church she played for children’s choir. Later, she studied privately with the acclaimed Elizabeth Buday at Shorter College, while maintaining a full studio of her own students. At present, she has been a piano educator for 25 years, and a church pianist for 35 years. Pam began composing in 2014 and has published 19 books of music for piano, ranging from the late beginner level to early advanced. Her passion is sacred music, and she has written many hymn arrangements and a number of original Christian themed pieces. She currently resides in Varnell, Georgia with her husband, three cats, and a dog.
