Skip Daly (1971-) was born in Washington D.C., and remains a native of the area. He graduated the University of Maryland with a degree in Geology in 1994, and has worked as a Database Administrator for 20 years. In his spare time, he enjoys playing bass and drums, and is also an avid SCUBA diver. In 2000, he founded an indie record label/music services company (BOS Music) with some friends, and enjoyed dabbling part-time in the music business. A culmination of nine years of effort, "Rush: Wandering the Face of the Earth: The Official Touring History" is his first book. Skip has been a dyed-in-the-wool Rush fan since 1988, and saw the band on every tour from 1990 all the way through to the final 2015 "R40" tour. He also launched and ran the RushPetition site which the band referenced over the years to help them compile their set lists. Skip lives in Gaithersburg, MD with his wife and four children.
