Michael D’Aulerio is a business professional, writer, and ultrarunner from Philadelphia, PA. With an MBA in Social Impact and certifications as a Personal Trainer and Nutrition Specialist, he is passionate about both physical endurance and holistic health. Michael has completed over 100 ultramarathons, including a 116-mile race across Florida and a 200-mile event, all while following a plant-based, fat-adapted approach to running.
He is the author of Mindful Ultramarathon Running, The Fat Adapted Running Formula, The Ultramarathon Guide, Your First Half Marathon, The Basic Marathon Guide, and A Runner’s Secret, a system for training with just one run per week. His latest book, Inside the Mind of a Ultramarathon Runner, shares insights on the transformational experience of ultrarunning. Michael also recently published The Big Boy Slide, a picture book to help children overcome fears.
