Christie Thompson

Christie Thompson has been a staff writer with The Marshall Project, a nonprofit newsroom covering criminal justice, since they were founded in 2014. Her investigative reporting has been published by the The New York Times, The Washington Post, ProPublica, NPR and other outlets. She is the recipient of the 2016 George Polk Award for Justice Reporting and studied journalism at Northwestern University.
