Betty Hallock is a writer and editor, formerly the deputy editor at the Los Angeles Times' award-winning Food section. She also has worked as a staff writer and editor at Los Angeles Magazine and at the Wall Street Journal in New York. She lives in Los Feliz with Josef Centeno, chef and co-author of Bäco: Recipes from the Heart of Los Angeles and Amá: A Modern Tex-Mex Kitchen, and their two dogs.
