Andrea De Mauro has nearly two decades of international experience managing Data Analytics and Data Science organizations. He served as Head of Data & Analytics at Vodafone and Director of Business Analytics at Procter & Gamble, leading efforts to elevate data analytics and AI in business strategies and fostering digital fluency across global organizations. He has been a professor of Marketing Analytics and Applied AI at various universities, including LUISS Guido Carli in Rome, the International University in Geneva, and the Universities of Bari and Florence, Italy. His research focuses on the essential components of Big Data as a phenomenon and the impact of AI and Data Analytics on companies and society. Andrea is the author of popular science books on Data Analytics and research papers in international journals. Named in the 2022 global “Forty Under 40” list by CDO Magazine, he is now an independent executive advisor and fractional Chief Data Officer. He regularly speaks at conferences and events, sharing practical insights on leveraging data and AI to create business value.
