Phara McLachlan was born in Manhattan, New York, to Haitian parents, and grow up in Brooklyn, New York. Phara McLachlan is a serial entrepreneur and currently the CEO of Nahteava, a leading management consulting firm specializing in IT and Software Asset Management (SAM), advisory services, and innovation. Phara has over 20 years of strategy and operations, innovation and marketing, and technology and consulting experience in the Americas, Asia, and Europe. With nearly two decades of ITSAM experience, Phara McLachlan advises clients in various industries on how to design, implement and measure IT asset management, software asset management, and software audit response programs, polices, processes and tools. Encompassing technology advisory, vendor selection, policy creation, process design, techniques and recommendations on how to optimize software licenses, and how to understand red flags that can trigger vendor audits. For more than a dozen years, Phara has also actively mentored and coached young and experienced IT and software asset managers and is a frequent speaker at conferences and seminars on industry and technology issues and innovation. In addition, she's written numerous articles that have appeared in magazines such as Architecture and Governance, Enterprise Apps Today, ITAM Review, CIO Update, Baseline, CRN, CIO.com, ITAK, and many others. Phara strives to share her knowledge and educate those who may be new to the ITAM and SAM industry in any way she can.
