Wendy O'Leary, M.Ed. is from Central Massachusetts. She is passionate about sharing mindfulness and self-compassion practices for emotional well-being and resiliency and especially enjoys working with children and families. She teaches practices she loves and has seen make a difference in so many lives, including her own. Wendy has been in hundreds of classrooms and organizations helping children learn skills to better understand and manage their emotions and works with parents and teachers giving them tools to support children. Wendy speaks internationally on mindfulness and self-compassion for children and is a guest lecturer in higher education. In addition to her work with children, Wendy also facilitates workshops on mindfulness, self-compassion, and happiness for adults. Wendy is an active community volunteer with a passion for supporting services and programs that empower children and their families. She was the recipient of the 2019 Advocate for Girls Award in her community. She loves being out in nature, taking walks, enjoying the wildlife, and boating with her husband, adult children, and friends.
