Tim Desmond

My storytelling skills come from more than a dozen years working as a radio documentary maker in Ireland. One of the stories I told for radio inspired me to write my first book, a collaboration with Ken Boyle, one of the people I had interviewed while making the documentary. The result is ‘The Murder of Doctor Muldoon’ an investigation into the circumstances of the shooting dead of a family doctor in Ireland during the years of the Irish Civil war. It’s a true story and reaches to the heart of the relationship between a young nation and the Catholic church.
