Karl Hughes is a teacher, mentor and speaker who uses his unique background and knowledge to motivate others to personal, professional and financial success. Karl’s 45 years of construction industry experience (master carpenter, business owner, union member, trade instructor) gives him a fresh perspective on goal setting and using ones own skills to succeed. He has a keen ability to communicate his passions to others.
A 6th generation carpenter, Karl believes that construction and other blue collar trades are overlooked as vital and rewarding careers and he encourages others to explore these opportunities. Karl is also the ‘house whisperer’ who reads the bones of a property and the details of real estate very well. He is engaging in relating his experiences, with the goal of motivating others to seek their success.
A long-time volunteer, Karl has guided Scouts from the mountains of the West to the Sea of Abaco, but more importantly, from inexperienced kids to confident young men. He helps them (and others) find the secret of the Scout handbook and apply those lessons to everyday life.
Teacher, leader, tradesman, volunteer – Karl has a passion for life and learning that he seeks to spark in all those around him.
