Hey, thanks for checking out my writings! I grew up on a dirt road in Michigan and started writing when I was 13. I was inspired to write my teen thriller, “Never Have I Ever,” while still living on that dirt road. I was inspired to write my love story, “Until September,” while suffering an unrequited crush on a boy after college. I now live in LA where I’ve taken up screenwriting. My two short thrillers, “Cole & Colette” and “One-Hit Wonder,” have been accepted into more than 60 film festivals combined, garnering several awards. I have nine completed feature scripts, which I am pitching to producers and managers, and have adapted “Never Have I Ever” into a feature script and “Until September” into a limited series. My first children’s book “Violet’s Pretty Purple Playground” is due to be published this year.
I was managing editor of “Out” magazine for seven years, write theater reviews for Broadway World, and am a member of the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle and Mensa.
I have an Emmy-winning producer for a partner, and we’re the proud parents of a demon-cat named Holly.
