Marin Marka

Marin Marka, MS, OTR/L is a board certified pediatric occupational therapist with over a decade of experience as a classically-trained music teacher. She graduated summa cum laude with a BA in child study and human development from Tufts University before receiving her master of science in Occupational Therapy from Boston University. She combined her knowledge of brain science and music to create FableNotes© as a science-backed way to make music literacy unbelievably fun. Marin has sung professionally on a nationally televised program on ABC as well as video game trailers with the New York Film Chorale. She was also achieved 9 consecutive gold ratings in solo piano performance at the annual Schubert Club YMF competition. She’s been adapting piano lessons to include children with disabilities for 7 years and has a passion for making music accessible for all. Marin currently works as a pediatric occupational therapist for a school district and a private clinic, and she teaches music lessons in her private studio, Bright Notes.
