Roberto Motta has a Civil Engineering degree from PUC-RJ and a Master's in Management from FGV-RJ. Roberto has over 30 years of business experience in Brazilian and multinational corporations, including 5 years as a consultant with The World Bank in Washington DC. Since 2007 he has been active in public security as social entrepreneur, businessman, consultant and activist. He introduced gunshot detection technology in Brazil. Roberto is also one of the two creators of the NOVO political party, which he left in 2016. He is a co-founder of several organizations that work to improve public security legislation and practices. In the 2018 presidential race he advised three presidential candidates on public security policy. Roberto wrote two books: “Ou Ficar A Pátria Livre” on politics, social development and justice, relased in 2016 and "Jogando Para Ganhar: Teoria e Prática da Guerra Política", published n 2018.
