Lisa Melanie Rubin

Lisa M. Rubin is a Professor in the College of Education at Kansas State University. She chairs the Institutional Review Board/Committee on Research Involving Human Subjects. She serves as coeditor of the NACADA Journal. She received the National Association of Academic and Student-Athlete Development Professionals (N4A) 2020 Research Award and 2019 Professional Excellence Award. Rubin is a 2018 recipient of the NCAA Innovations in Research and Practice Grant and the Big 12 Faculty Fellowship, invited by the Center for Sports Leadership and Innovation at The University of Texas at Austin. In 2017, Rubin was named one of the Top 25 Woman Leaders in Higher Education by Diverse: Issues in Higher Education. Prior to her faculty role, she was a student-athlete services professional at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She was recognized by N4A with the Professional Promise Award in 2009.
