Tom Hamling

About Tom: Tom lives with his wife and three children in Norwich, UK. He released his first rhyming picture book in 2019 and has since launched two more in the series. Tom enjoys spending time with friends and family, and loves watching his children play using this to inspire his stories. Tom's Books: Tom's books celebrate the wonderful imaginations of children, using his characters to demonstrate imaginative play. For example, in "It's Gold We Love Most!" we see the children playing on a wooden climbing frame in the garden, but to them it's a sea ready pirate ship! They're fun for all the family with a confident reader being able to navigate their way through the text, while younger children will love interacting with the story teller throughout, looking at the wonderful traditional hand drawn illustrations! The books are beautifully illustrated by Rachel Edwards. Rachel graduated from Norwich University Of The Arts in 2017, and has recently relocated to Maidstone, UK. Books Available: ‘It's Gold We Love Most’ was published in September 2019 and follows siblings Bella and Jack as they play pirates, searching for buried treasure, fierce cannon battles and an encounter with a rather familiar looking pirate! 'Only Bones Left Behind' sees the return of Bella and Jack, and was released in April 2020. The pair meet dinosaurs as they play rangers in a Jurassic land, and we meet some new members of the family! 'Look, there's Mars!' joins Bella & Jack as they pretend to be astronaughts, travelling across the solar system. They find a new friend, but can they reunite him with his family?
