Cheryl King Duvall Phd

关于作者

Cheryl King Duvall, PhD is an organizational psychologist who taught at the undergraduate, graduate, and executive MBA levels in two private universities for fifteen years. After retiring from teaching, she worked with Special Ed children for several years, and now with publishing her Memoir about her life growing up in Africa, is a first-time author. Earlier in her professional career, Cheryl consulted with Fortune 500 companies in organization design, redesign and hiring. She focused her work helping organizations establish environments of “Assuring Individual Success” versus “Preventing Individual Failure” and how these managerial values help assure the success of both individual performance and businesses. Cheryl published business works in seven peer-reviewed journals, one textbook case study, and seven papers used in peer-reviewed conference proceedings. Cheryl is an accomplished quilter and an avid hiker. She has climbed Mt. Whitney, highest point in the continental US, and Mt. Chirripó, highest point in Central America. The next mountain on her list is Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest point in Africa. She also wants to finish hiking the Appalachian Trail where she has completed from Springer Mountain in Georgia to the Smoky Mountains in North Carolina. Travel is her family hobby and inspiration now having visiting over 60 countries, with more on her list. She knows she could not have accomplished any of this without the encouragement and help of her loving and constant support team—her beloved husband of over 40 years, two wonderful sons, her daughter-in-law, and two precious grandsons whom she adores more than anything.
