Cinthia Wild

Cinthia grew up in Brazil along with her older brother and two younger sisters. Holidays were often spent at the family farm where she would fish and explore the abundant nature all around them, from tiny leafcutter ants to emus! Amongst the rich variety of bugs and animals, the firefly was her favourite, with its magical ability to produce light. It was later, after moving to Switzerland and starting a family that she began to write short stories for her two daughters and sprinkle some real world facts about the insects throughout. This then developed until she produced her first book, Marien’s Wish.
