Adam Goodman

Adam Goodman is the author of the award-winning book The Deportation Machine: America's Long History of Expelling Immigrants. His writing on migration history and policy, immigration activism, and US and Mexican politics has appeared in outlets such as the Washington Post, The Nation, and the Journal of American History. Goodman teaches in the Department of History and the Latin American and Latino Studies Program at the University of Illinois Chicago.
