Mary Hargreaves is from Manchester and enjoys writing, cooking and staring intently at pictures of other people's dogs when she should be working. She dislikes waiting, musicals and the cold hard fact that she does not currently own a dog. She lives in Manchester with her husband and an omnipresent, half-dead basil plant. Her debut novel, This Is Not A Love Story, was shortlisted for the RNA's Debut Romantic Novel Award.
