Cassandra Bailey

Cassandra Bailey is the creator and author of "My Mom Is..." Books. Her first book, "My Mom is a CEO," was inspired by her daughter. She realized there were no books for children whose moms have difficult to explain jobs. From there, she began writing books for other children in her life. She is the CEO of Slice Communications, a marketing communications agency that specializes in public relations, social media, and email market. Cassandra's company is certified woman-owned, and she's an active member of the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). She's also a member of the Entrepreneurs Organization (EO), and sits on the board of the Philadelphia chapter of the organization. Cass is the chair emerita of Tree House Books, where she put her passion for reading, writing, and thinking to work for children in North Philadelphia. Cass has written extensively on marketing, social media, and public relations and speaks on those topics at conferences across the country. "My Mom Is..."
