Tray Mead was the founding director of the Arizona Museum of Natural History. HE DIGS DINOSAURS -- literally. Tray has restored Spanish Missions, Ancient Indian Temples plus excavates dinosaurs. He has built displays from prehistoric environments to Outer Space exhibits including working hand in hand with NASA. The last major project at the museum was the forty thousand square foot dinosaur wing.

Tray is a world explorer. He has had blowgun duels with the Habaro Headhunters of the Amazon Jungle. The same tribe featured in "Raiders of the Lost Ark." He has scuba dived on sunken ships, hiked the Great Wall of China and Climbed Machu Picchu of the ancient Incas. He has toured behind the scenes major state and national museums plus toured archaeological sites around the world. His adventures and natural history background allow him to write on many and varied topics.

Mead has a degree in Education with a double major in Anthropology and History which allows him to teach in grades Kindergarten through College and to develop the special curriculum for each of these grade levels. With his special love of Nature he is developing a series of new books for our young up coming girl and boy geniuses. This includes the "AMAZING FACTS," series.

Tray Mead has been writing articles and short stories for publications since the age of thirteen. He published his first eight complete books at the age of twenty-four. He says he sort of cheated because he formed and ran his own profitable, publishing company. Ever since then he has been involved in publishing books and articles.
