Tom E Kelly

Tom E Kelly is a graduate of John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio with a life-long passion for the history of Ireland through her songs and stories. A former rugby player, Kelly is married to his college sweetheart and together they have four children, three grandchildren and a loyal yellow lab. In his novel, Oliver's Rebellion, he takes the reader on an emotional roller-coaster back in time, to a turbulent period in Irish history when Irish rebels were engaged in a brutal struggle with British forces as they fought for Irish independence. Through the eyes of young, aspiring, African-American journalist E.J. Oliver and his extraordinary relationships with those on both sides of the conflict, one is transfixed by the violence, hate, love, courage, betrayal, tragedy, victories and defeats that transform E.J. from a compliant neutral observer to one of the most wanted men in Ireland.
