Katie Specht

Katie Specht is a children's book author and mother of four amazing kids, including a set of twins. Her stories are based on experiences that have happened to her own children. She writes these books with the hope that other kids will be able to relate to them and that their families will find them useful for various childhood situations. When she is not driving her kids to their myriad of activities, working on future stories, or promoting her books, she writes book reviews for the Feathered Quill and she is a member of the Florida Writers Association and the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. In her spare time, she enjoys baking sweet treats, traveling with her family, taking her kids to the beach, cheering on her sons at their baseball games, spending relaxing days boating on local lakes and getting lost in a good mystery, especially anything by Elle Gray.
