Mike J Scott

A native of Dublin, OH, Mike Scott now lives in the Navy Yard neighborhood of Washington, D.C. with his wife Torey. The two welcomed their first child, a baby girl, in April, 2020. Mike is the author of "First-time Officiant." He is an ordained Minister through American Marriage Ministries, having sought the designation in 2014 after he was first asked to officiate a wedding by two friends. Mike has officiated weddings in Washington, D.C., Indianapolis, IN, and Charleston, SC. Mike works for his alma mater, Miami University, overseeing the institution's fundraising efforts on the East Coast, as well as for the renowned Dolibois European Center in Luxembourg.
