Rachel Lee Hall is a classical harpist with two main passions: introducing the harp to new audiences and encouraging young musicians to thrive. The 2019 Gold Medal winner of the Houston Symphony’s Ima Hogg Competition, Hall has appeared in Philadelphia’s Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, Houston’s E. Jones Hall for the Performing Arts, Cleveland’s Severance Hall, and Blossom Music Center. Having received both her Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from the Cleveland Institute of Music, she went on to become a winner of Astral Artists’ 2017 National Auditions and has appeared as soloist with many orchestras nationwide. Hall maintains a private harp studio and serves on faculty at Hollins University, in addition to maintaining an ever-growing following on social media. Although she travels frequently to perform, Rachel Lee Hall is always called back to her homeland in Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains.
