Carlene Griffith

Carlene Griffith is a native of Southern California and enjoys writing short stories, short plays, and children's fiction.

With training in all areas of the performing arts and experience that span over 40yrs, Carlene teaches theater and acting to children when she's not writing.

Carlene is the author of Griffith Playhouse's successful short play series, 10 MINUTE PLAYS FOR KIDS OF ALL AGES and a fairy tale series called ROSE MAIDELAIDEN.

As the co-Assistant Regional Advisor of SCBWI SoCal Chapter, Carlene organizes critique groups and events for her fellow children's book authors and illustrators and contributes her many talents as editor for the thier newsletter.
