Scott Shanahan

Los Angeles native Scott Shanahan has spent 15 years training, socializing, and caring for the canines of the rich and famous. As a frequent in-home caretaker for the dogs he worked with, Scott learned about the unique needs of his canine clients, many of whom were eating human-grade food or highly customized diets. He noticed the impact food was having on each animal’s quality of life. His fascination with canine diet and the improved quality of life it provides has driven him to develop affordable, customizable dog food recipes that the non–rich-and-famous can make for their dogs at home. Today, Scott lives in a 250-square-foot tiny house with his wife, daughter, and three mismatched dogs whom he cooks for every night.
